Robbinsville’s Abigail Knight Signs with Knoxville Miracle

ROBBINSVILLE, N.C. — Abigail Knight is taking her softball career to the professional level, signing with the Knoxville Miracle.

Knight, the daughter of Robbinsville High School head softball coach Billy Knight, has deep roots in the sport. Her father led the Lady Black Knights to a 2026 state championship, adding another milestone to the family’s softball story.

A Robbinsville graduate, Knight continued her softball career at UNC Charlotte, South Carolina, and Boston College before earning the opportunity to compete professionally.

The Knoxville Miracle are preparing for their inaugural season in 2027, giving Knight the chance to showcase her talents on the professional stage.

From the mountains of Graham County to college softball and now the professional ranks, Knight’s journey is another proud moment for the Robbinsville softball community.
