PRESS RELEASE – Detectives executed a search warrant at 35 Ward Street on December 3rd to investigate a possible Firearm by Felon violation. During that search, investigators located only air rifles, and no firearms were found. However, a small plastic bag containing a crystalline substance was discovered inside the residence.
A third search warrant was obtained to collect the suspected narcotics. The substance was then tested using TrueNarc, returning a positive result for methamphetamine.
As a result of the investigation, the homeowner, Rebecca Ann Crisp, was arrested and charged with:
• Possession with intent to manufacture, Sell or Deliver Schedule 2 Controlled Substance
Magistrate Brian Farley issued a $100,000 bond
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
