Cuttler Adams Prepares For Saturday’s Shrine Bowl – “Playing In This Game Has Always Been A Dream Of Mine”

(Spartanburg, South Carolina) – Western North Carolina’s leading rusher, Cuttler Adams, will be putting on the pads one more time as a Robbinsville Black Knight this Saturday in the Shrine Bowl of The Carolinas football game.

The Shrine Bowl of The Carolinas is the oldest all-star football game in America. All profits that result from the games are sent to the Shriner’s Hospital, a world-renowned healthcare facility concentrating on treating children so they may enjoy the life we all take for granted. The top high school football players in both South Carolina and North Carolina make up the two teams’ rosters. Players receive invites throughout their senior season due to their performances on the field and at the SBOTC combine in the offseason.

From the Shrine Bowl of The Carolinas Website:

The first game was played on December 4th, 1937, in Charlotte, North Carolina. As the oldest running all-star football game in nation, we take pride in our players, coaches, and the fundraising efforts that come every year. Over the past 86 years, the SBOTC has seen hundreds of coaches and players and donated over $75 million for The Shriners Hospitals.

Cuttler has had a storied career at Robbinsville High School, and hes honored to suit up one final time with the Black Knight on the side of his helmet.

Adams told TeamFYNSports, “It’s always been a dream of mine to play in this bowl game and my dreams have come true! I’m so honored and blessed to have this opportunity and so excited to get out there and compete with the best everyday throughout the practices this week and the game on Saturday. The Lord has truly blessed me, and all the glory goes to Him.”

Cuttler finished his high school career as both the All-Time leading rusher in the Smoky Mountain Conference and in Western North Carolina. The bruiser rushed for 6,794 yards on 937 carries in his COVID shortened career, and also tallied a total of 100 touchdowns as a Black Knight.
